Re: MacClade and PAUP
People often talk about software that is available
"only for Windows", e.g. the Nexus Data Editor
mentioned below (haven't used this one myself--i
just use any old text editor to enter PAUP data).
In fact, almost all Windows programs can be run on
a Mac using Virtual PC or Softwindows (i think the
latter is no longer in development and can only run
Win 98se or earlier, but has some advantages over
VPC). I'm not trying to advertise for either product
but they are exceedingly useful--on occasion--for
dedicated Mac users like myself, and are available
from various sources.
