Re: MacClade and PAUP
Something I found out recently about NDE may help those of you who use it.
If you just try to enter a polymorphy larger than two states (e.g. 1/2/3 or
1+2+3), you can't do it. However, if you only type "1/23", NDE turns that
into 1/2/3. If you need four or more states in your polymorphy, just type
enough characters into the box so that they make enough room for your large
polymorphy, then delete them, and type your polymorphy in. I usually just
type "111111111111111111", then delete that and change it to 2/3/4/5 or
whatever I need. Hope this helps.
