Just an observation that SVP remains extremely lily white, though with an 
increasing Asian representation.  There seemed to be more women in attendance, 
but African-American/Black participants were fewer than the digits on one 
manus. I hope that SVP is encouraging bright young people of all colors to 
participate in science and paleontology through educational/outreach programs?
