Ladies and Gentlemen,

        The reprint exchange held at this year's SVP student forum was an
enormous success.  Attendance at the forum was about double last
year's.  We didn't keep track of the number of reprints donated or
distributed, but the entire surfaces of four or five long tables
were covered at the beginning and picked clean by the end.  There
were papers covering virtually every group of vertebrate and
virtually every research question that's been asked of them over the
past decade.

        On behalf of Andrew Farke and myself,  many thanks to those who
donated reprints for this event.  Your generosity was noted by the
enthusiastic students who carried away stacks of your works for
their libraries.

        We plan on holding another such exchange next year.  Think of us
when you order reprints of your works in coming months.  As with
this past exchange, you may send them to me for safekeeping until
next year's meeting, or you may bring them to the meeting  yourself.
Either way, we hope you'll consider passing a few of your reprints
along for the student members of SVP.
