I don't believe Magellenic penguins breed here...?
Strictly speaking you are correct - approximately 500,000 Magellanic
Penguins breed on Punta Tombo, which is actually a bit south of Peninsula
Valdez itself but is in the same general area. I should have made the
distinction - but the point about predators is still the same. See
