I agree, this is the stuff I'm most interested
in. The whole "who is stronger" thing does have an appeal but isn't very
realistic. I mean look at all the factors you have to consider. Was
the individual T.rex or Giganotosaurus an experienced fighter, was one
better able to move on a given terrain than the other, is the fight taking place
at night? etc. Assuming that the animals are in identical physical
condition and are on a equal fighting field it really only matter who gets the
first bite in as I doubt that either animal could survive a bite from the other
that was meant to kill (if the rex survived it would probably die from blood
loss later on while the Giganoto would die instantly if its neck was
crunched). Even than it doesn't matter who is fastest, its so subjective
that its not really worth speculating about. I believe the attraction
people have to these kinds of questions is based on them not viewing dinosaurs
as actual once living, breathing animals but as super monsters like on
movies. Then again it is just in a lot of people to speculate about these
things.
