Dinosaur Lit at Borders
If there is a Border's bookstore in your area, you might check their
sales tables for Czerkas and Czerkas's _Dinosaurs: A Global View_ on sale
for $19.98. That's about $10.00 off the price I usually see it at.
While you're there, if you have or know kids who are interested in
dinosaurs, you might want to look in the children's magazine section for
a magazine called "Falcon." It frequently has a "monthly" column by Jack
Horner called "Dinospeak." Past articles have been illustrated by Brian
Franczak. The January/February 1996 issue has an article by Horner on "weird
dinosaurs" like "Einiosaurus" and "Achelosaurus" discovered by Horner in
Montana. (Achelosaurus's species name is given as "horneri.") Nominated
for "Weirdest Dinosaur" is Therizinosaurus. They are all well-illustrated
this issue by Phil Wilson.
(I gues you could call "Falcon" a natural history magazine for kids.)
