That is right. Today it is named for Scheuchzer.  Plot suggested it might have been part of a femur. He reminded people the Bible spoke of giants. JD

Mercifully, 'Scrotum humanum' isn't actually a name. It was never
intended as a binomial, and there's no reason to treat it as one
since.
