As for any test of time, your really living in your own
bubble if you think the hysterical response will term out looking better 
over time.  I suppose if you think that we will all tern out to be
progressives in the future fighting for communist social justice, then
you draw that conclusion.  But most of us that went through the 60's,
70's and 80's, not to mention the 1990's, we have seen how inevitably
self preservation pushed politics to the middle.

I also "went through" the 60s, 70s,80s, and 90s, big guy, and am most likely
older than you. If you think we've moved "to the middle" over the last fifty
years, you're the one writing from a bubble. And you've also never wanted to
get married to a person of the same sex, vote while black, not be fired for
being trans, buy a house in a white neighborhood while being some other
color, not be arrested for having consensual sex, or send your kids to a
non-segregated school. And your suggestion that anything to the left of
Attila the Hun is "communist social justice" is a riot. Republican much?
