Sauropods needed dry and reasonably flat, dry ground to nest, did they not?Given the GROSSLY underestimated tactical vulnerability of the poor dears on ground favorable to the large bipeds, and the presumed need to nest on precisely such ground, it is hardly surprising they did not have good life expectancy once they reached adulthood.
