Mesozoico Forum

The administration of the Mesozoico.com.ar web site, invites you to participate in a new area of encounter for the world of paleontology. This new venture is called Mesozoic Forum and includes, basically, a Web Discussion Forum raised from the professional point of view, which can address all the issues inherent in vertebrate paleontology and other related disciplines, as well also the socio-cultural phenomena that emanate from these.

We communicate you that to fully enjoy all the content offers at Mesozoico Forum, the stakeholders must register for free by completing a short form. In this instance, the users who have registered will have entitled to make available to the scientific community, your work, experiences and concerns through the postings of topics. They will also have the opportunity to participate in open issues by other users as well as download content offered on the website.
At the same purpose, the users who have not been registered, they count with the posibility to access the forum with read-only attribute.


The forums created for these purposes include such topics as: "Systematics and Phylogeny", "Paleoanatomy and Paleophisiology"; "Paleoecology and Paleoetology"; "Paleobiogeography" and "Generals" of the groups Invertebrata, Amphibia, Reptilia, Dinosauria, Aves and Mammalia.
Also available are an area of "Geology" which includes the subcategories: "Generals", "Taphonomy", "Stratigraphy and Biostratigraphy" and "Mineralogy".
At the forum "Other Areas of Study", are covered such topics as "Paleobotany", "Paleopalynology", "Palaeoichnology", "Micropaleontology", "Paleogenetics" and "Paleoclimatology."
Mesozoic Forum also counts with an area of "Technical", which includes subforums of "Field Work", "Laboratory", "Casts and Replicas" and "Paleoart."
The area "Users" has subforums like "Schedule", "Mess Room" "DinoManía" and "Market".
Finally, the area called "Files", developes the resources of "Atlas", "Reviews" and "Contributions".


In this way, from the administration of Mesozoico Forum, we try to cover all the topics that are part of paleontologic discipline giving to the user the most comprehensive spectrum of possibilities to develop its specialty on the Web, because we are convinced that the success of this new challenge depends on your presence and your participation.

Maybe someone should set the author, Deepak Chopra, straight. He seems
to
be referring to the _Archaeoraptor_ chimera, but comes out saying that
there
is no fossil evidence for feathered dinosaurs.

Although I'm don't care much for "success gurus" like Mr.
Chopra, I think what he means in this case is "the VERY FIRST feathered
dinosaur" has yet to be found .
