Neither, actually! Recent redescription and reanalysis of the specimen by
Nathan Smith and colleagues place it, Dilophosaurus, "Dilophosaurus"
sinensis, and Dracovenator regenti as a clade intermediate between
Coelophysoidea and the Ceratosauria-Tetanurae group (Averostra).
