Nope -- the first cast of the Carnegie Diplodocus was unveiled in
London BMNH (British Museum, Natural History) on May 12, 1905 -- as
described in great detail by Holland:
Holland, W. J. 1905. The presentation of a
reproduction of _Diplodocus carnegiei_ [sic] to the
trustees of the British Museum. Annals of the
Carnegie Museum 3 (3): 443-452 and plates XVII-XVIII.
