Nope -- the first cast of the Carnegie Diplodocus was unveiled in
London BMNH (British Museum, Natural History) on May 12, 1905 -- as
described in great detail by Holland:

        Holland, W. J.  1905.  The presentation of a
        reproduction of _Diplodocus carnegiei_ [sic] to the
        trustees of the British Museum.  Annals of the
        Carnegie Museum 3 (3): 443-452 and plates XVII-XVIII.
