Re: NASA Mars mission funding - better spent on paleo?
Although not stated clearly, what I meant was that it is too costly for
the limited benefits relative to that scientific discipline. In other
words, can we learn more about Mars from putting probes on Mars or
putting people on Mars. Comparing the relative merits Mars exploration,
paleontology, and finding the cure for cancer is not what I was getting
at.
