I enjoyed reading Maidment & Wei 2006, Maidment, Wei & Norman 2006 and
Maidment, Norman and Barrett and Upchurch 2008 but sorry to say I think a
lot of their conclusions are rubbish. Good example of what happens when
you blindly apply a meth[od]ology to the fossil record. Poor stegosaurs
got blitzkreiged. Suggest that everyone read G.S. Paul's 2008 article on
iguanodonts for a more balanced approach to interpreting the fossil
record.
Could you elaborate, please?
