Thanks Nick,
I tried resending it a second time, but I must have messed something up.

My question is:
Is there anything to suggest that one sex over another would have more
of a role in starting an evolutionary change within a species? In
other words, would males be more likely to "start" the process of
evolutionary change, or would females be that catalyst to begin the
process?

I would suspect that things like major ecosystem changes would cause
both sexes to evolve equally, due to their need to survive, but what
about the gradual changes within species???

Thanks,

George
