I'd be for it, long as you could bring back both a woman and a man.  I'd 
hate to see either alone, because it'd be tough knowing you were the last of 
a species.....

The Ugly Little Boy.  A novella by Asimov, and a novel by Asimov and 
Silverberg.  The novella was better.
