What's New, Sabercat?     
The Current Art of Paleomammal Reconstruction

Charles R. Knight and Zdenek Burian were tough acts to follow, as masters of 
the art of reconstructing and restoring the appearance of ancient mammals as 
well as dinosaurs. Today's generation of paleoartists, however, have risen to 
the standards of these earlier masters in terms of technical excellence as well 
as a thorough understanding of animal and plant anatomy, behavior and the 
application of current paleontological knowledge.In this discussion, Mark 
Hallett 
will highlight some of the talented professionals working in the area of 
paleomammal art today, their techniques and work.
