       You'll have to visit a good library (probably at a university), but 
the standard biographies are: 
       Henry Fairfield Osborn. _Cope: Master Naturalist, 1931, Princeton 
University Press.
       Charles Schuchert. _O.C. Marsh, 1940, Yale University Press.
       These have been reprinted in various forms. Also excellent is our own 
Jane Davidson's life of Cope, _The Bone Sharp_, 1997, The Academy of Natural 
Sciences of Philadelphia, ISBN 0-910006-53-9
