the fossil record is too poor to tell exactly when, but there are many

clades in the latest Cretaceous that have not been found in Cenozoic
layers.)
Which reminds me, what did the murderous flightless birds from after
the age of dinosaurs like Phorusrhacos(sp?), Diatryma, etc., evolve
