Saw a recent doco proving servals are amazing leapers - one twisted itself up at least (what seemed to be) six feet in the air to catch a bird in mid-flight. I've since read that they can leap 10 feet vertically. They eat birds, rodents and lizards, just like most other small cats (some like fish). (Apart from their long legs and huge ears (evolved due to living among high grasses), they're not much different from domestic puddy tats.) Caracals have similar habits and abilities, although they're somewhat larger and look more like pumas.
