ichthyosaurus

Hi as some of you might know I'm building a little ichthyosite
but since I'm only an intereseted amateur, sometimes I can't find all the
info I want, so I hope you wouldn't mind if I ask it here.

Well let's start with the most annoying one Ichthyosaurus
Time Hettangian-Sinemurian

Species:

I.communis(type) Conybeare, 1821 (common fishlizard)
I.breviceps: Owen, 1881 (short-faced fishlizard)
I.conybeari: Lydekker, 1888 (Conybeares fishlizard)
I.intermedius: Conybeare, 1822 (intermediate fishlizar)

fossilsites: Great-Britain: Lyme Regis, Dorset & Germany (don't know which
fossilsite)

misassigned species: (I often don't know or doubt what was the original
genus assigned to the species)

I.acutirostris = Stenopterygius acutirostris
I.atavus (originally ???) = Mixosaurus atavus
I.australis = Platypterygius longmani
I.burgundiae (orig. Leptopterygius?) = Temnodontosaurus burgundiae
I.campylodon = Platypterygius kiprijanoffi
I.cornalianus = Mixosaurus cornalianus
I.enthekiodon = Nannopterygius enthekiodon
I.extremus = Brachypterygius extremus
I.hercynicus (orig. ?) = Platypterygius hercynicus
I.janiceps (orig. ?) = Macgowania janiceps
I.leptospondylus = Aegirosaurus leptospondylus
I.missouriensis = Mosasaurus missouriensis
I.platyodon (orig. ?) = Temnodontosaurus platyodon
I.tenuirostris = Leptonectes tenuirostris
I.trigonus = Aegirosaurus leptospondylus

Synonyms
Proteosaurus (don't know the species)
    =Ichthyosaurus (same thing here)
Eurypterygius communis (orig. Ichthyosaurus), Jaeker,1904
    =I.communis
Eurypterygius intermedius (orig. Ichthyosaurus), Jaekel, 1904
    =I.intermedius
Protoichthyosaurus (not sure if it is and i'm not sure which species
synonymizes with which Ichthyospecies), Appleby, 1979

By the way why would Jaekel invent a junior synonym for the type species?

unnamed species:
2 Ichtyosaurus species (probably both Nomina dubia, although I'm not sure)
Have they both been named or synonymized, I thought one of them was
synonymized with I.communis, I don't know a thing of the other

these are probably all missasigned, but what they really remains a complete
mystery to me, sometimes I have a clue but I'm absolutely not sure, have
they been renamed or synonymized and if so to what. or is at just a
genusless species like "Stegosaurus" madagascariensis:

I.arietis
I.bambergensis
I.bodenbenderi
I.californicus  = Toretocnemus californicus  ????
I.coniformis
I.crassimanus
I.dorsetensis
I.franciscanus
I.immanis
"I."kurskensis (orig. Elasmosaurus?) = indeterminate (is it????)
I.lonchiodon
I.longifrons (orig. ?) = Stenopterygius longifrons ????
I.longirostris (orig. ?) = Eurhinosaurus longirostris ????
I.marathonensis
I.megacephalus (orig. ?) = Stenopterygius megacephalus ??
I.nasimovii (nomen dubium)
I.numismalis
I.quadriscissus (orig. ?) = Stenopterygius quadriscissus ????
I.steleodon (orig. ?) = "Platypterygius" steleodon ????
I.strombecki
I.thyreospondylus ????
I.trigonodon (orig. ?) = Temnodontosaurus trigonodon ????
I.triscissus
I.volgensis = Otschevia? (what species)
I.zetlandicus

If there are any nomina dubia or nobia nuda among them and I haven't
mentioned them please tell me, and if there are species, missasigneds or
synonyms that I haven't mentioned or mistakes also please.

Thanks in advance and sorry if this post annoyed you (hope somebody will
answer me ;-) )
