Re: usa velociraptor?
There was a discovery that was originally described as _Velociraptor sp._, but
was later moved to its own genus, _Bambiraptor_.
_Velociraptor_ is, as far as we know, a purely eastern Asian genus, unless,
like Paul 1988, you lump some North American species in there. (In that work,
he includes _Saurornitholestes langstoni_ and _Deinonychus antirrhopus_ as
species of _Velociraptor_, but this was not followed, except perhaps in
_Jurassic Park_, and Paul 2002 does place _antirrhopues_ in _Deinonychus_.)
