Why kill it off?  As far as I can see, there's no way for it to dumb down the 
population any further.  The damage has been done, now let them go 
complete-sci-fi-mindless fun with it. 

Or, on the other hand, maybe someone will put up the money to remake the 
original, true to the book...miniseries...never happen though.  should have 
been more drama than action...

I bet the rumors were BS.  I don't see that being true--too bad.  I thought 
they would go along the REAL sci-fi tract.  the dinosaurs were not "Real", they 
were man made.  What would stop them from crossing them, manipulating them?  I 
figured Speilburg wanted to make a JP4, but make up his own dinosaurs--I think 
they had JP toys with mutated dinosaurs.
