Tracy,
As far as I can recall, it was "Richard". The "Ricardo" part was for the
Latinization of the name.
And speaking of Ricardoestesia, the following paper is just in in the latest
Journal of Paleontology:

CURRIE. 2002. SMALL THEROPOD AND BIRD TEETH FROM THE LATE CRETACEOUS (LATE
CAMPANIAN) JUDITH RIVER GROUP, ALBERTA. Journal of Paleontology: Vol. 76,
No. 4, pp. 751–763.
(Sorry about all the caps, but to save time I was cutting & pasting from the
html version of the paper).
Describes a collection of ~1700 small theropod teeth from the Judith River
Group, including Paryonychodon lacustris and ?Dromaeosaurus, both of which
show wear facets (!!), Saurornitholestes, Dromaeosaurus, Richardoestesia (so
spelt) gilmorei and R. isoceles, Troodon, and bird teeth.
