Society for Amateur Scientists' Award goes to Paleontologist Jack Horner



Guess who's being honored as Amateur Scientist of the year with the Benjamin Franklin Citizen Scientist Award?  Right again...
 
Amateur scientists have tested their own tenacity.  Ever since he can remember, Jack Horner wanted to be a paleontologist. But there was a problem: No matter how hard he tried in school, he rarely managed to get a grade higher than a D.

Great article and I learned more than I anticipated.  Maybe I'll go to the convention now.
