Thanks to David for his detailed response.

  However, any typos in the text are that of von Huene's, not mine. I went
over this thing with a fine toothed comb. For problem words, I especially
made sure of the word, and structure was supplied by running the work in
Babelfish, which has it's own problems and is dealing with modern Deutsch
anyway. I have a photocopy from the original monograph, thanks to Tracy
Ford, and was very careful in transcribing the page over. After that it
was a matter of working out the translation and getting the characters
correct. Current German does not make so much profuse usage of the
double-ess character as they did back then, and so forth. Not sure, but
three different spellings "grosste, grosse, groesste" were quite frequent.
In the title of the paper, I re-transcribed "development" to "evolution"
for the modern perspective, though this may have been a wrong move, and I
think I might change it back. I have problems with "beschribenen," until
this corrected to beshchribenen, as well as others (not corrected in the
document). Needless to say, I was fairly hopeful for correction on this
matter, and wouild prefer to keep the 30's-ish flavor to the text, since
this was how it was written.

  Nonetheless, I very much appreciate comments and corrections and will be
able to integrate this into the translation and have a revision up by the
end of the week. I will also try to edit the text a little, as I did not
include Tim Williams' contribution to the identity of *Rapator*, and can
also reference all the documents I know of on *Rapator*. If anyone could
contribute possibly obscure or non-English works on this taxon, I would
appreciate it very much. I like being thourough (the fifty-page document
on oviraptorid jaws I have is telling in this ... lol).
