       If you can, be sure to catch the stunning new series "Blue Planet: 
Seas of Life" on the Discovery Channel. It will be re-run this Friday 
evening. Once again the BBC triumphs. Richard Attenborough narrates in his 
classic style. Especially striking in one of last night's episodes, "Frozen 
Seas", was a sequence of a leopard seal hunting penquins. The leopard seal is 
the closest thing to a mosasaur that has existed since Basilosaurus. The shot 
of the seal lurking in wait behind a corner of an iceberg is a perfect 
example of an ambush predator.
