      I was reminded of that on-list a ways back, mate. I'm still interested in knowing if Tyrannosaurus could swing its humerus forward like that. I thought it was nearly buried in muscle and its arms were figuratively "tied behind its back". The book containing Carpenter and Smith's paper has probably made its way out of the  john at the Princeton geology department by now, so I'll go to their liberry and have a look.
