If I recall correctly, Greg Paul in PDW says he actually measured the size of the bite that a Tyrannosaurus rex could take out of it's prey. Something like a yard long, and over a foot deep and wide. Paul also says this would've destroyed the entire upper thigh of Triceratoips, and cut down to the femur. Impressive at any rate.
