While I generally agree with this sentiment, it's worth noting that
the JP series has - mainly through the use of high-profile scientific
advisers like Jack Horner - given the impression that the representations
of dinosaurs in the movies are accurate.
This might be unintentional, it might not, but it moves the films
slightly beyond pure entertainment & into a more uneasy position where
a large part of the audience believe that they're watching "real"
dinosaurs (that is, accurate depictions of dinosaurs using the latest
evidence), albeit in a fictional tale.

By all means, scale-up Velociraptor, make Spinosaurus bigger & meaner,
do anything you want to the dinos in the movie, but don't use your
scientific advisers as some kind of certificate of authenticity (and
don't expect me to watch it ;-))
