Dear ListMembers
in view of the fact that I tentatively performing a phylogenetic analysis
of Neoceratopsia and in view that I've used in the major part the characters and
taxon list of Makovicky 2001Montanoceratops paper and 2002
Liaoceratops paper with the addition of two taxa Protoceratops
hellenikorhinus and Breviceratops kozlowskii plus some characters
of Sereno 2000 Neoceratopsia paper, today I've read the Makovicky 2001 abstract
"Evolutionary history of basal Neoceratopsia" JVP 21(3) 77A in which the author
mention an unnamed Jurassic taxon (IVPP V 12722) from Hebei China which
represent the sister taxon to Chaoyangsaurus. Initially I think that IVPP 12722
was referred to Liaoceratops, but this is not the case, well I'm very grateful
if someone could tell me information about this unnamed taxon, expecially
material, locality, horizon, and diagnosis.
Any help are welcome
