Re: Stuff for paleoartists (was: Kunmingosaurus)



What's the problem when you indicate the stuff you use
to draw a dinosaur? Of course, if a complete skeleton of, let's say,
_Noasaurus_, is ever found, it's obvious that everybody will have to make
new artwork...

I actually just finished a life reconstruction of Noasaurus, and by that just ephazising your point - but my problem with Kunmingosaurus turned out to be that it is as poorly known as Noasaurus when it comes to skeletal material. But taxonomically, it's even more poorly known, so I got no other basic-sauropods to use as back up. In Noasaurus I mainly used Masiakasaurus and basic Ceratosaurian features, but in Kunmingosaurus I'm not sure which other backup species I can use with safety.


BTW, go on, Øyvind, you make interesting studies, like a _Megalosaurus_
skeletal reconstruction.
