I enjoyed parts of Walking with Beasts. I in particular thought the Smilodon, Messel, and Indricothere parts best...
that being said, The writing and direction was much better in WWD, the australopithecines should have been played by actors, and the segments on the science were put in such a way to destroy the narrative. I was never really able to "get into" this series, and lose myself as I could with WWD.
Oh yeah, the australopithecine fight was giving me Matrix flashbacks...
