I hope "psilopterid-like wings" means a nasty alular claw because that was
definitely present in the documentary. Did anyone who saw the documentary
happen to notice that the birds continual got the worst parts? Two
eight-foot tall birds should be able to whip up on a lone *Smilodon*, right?
Instead, they squawk and run for their lives. It seemed to me that too
little attention was payed to the great avians.
