Also, T. rex being a terrestrial scavenger is far from "impossible."  Would
it have been any more likely than a lion or hyena to turn its nose up at a
dead hadrosaur buffet?  If you mean "pure" scavenger... is there such a
thing?>>

To clarify, I dont beleive I've ever heard John say in his talks anything
about the scavenger/predator debate directly.  Before we fall into that pit
of dispair, I suggest everyone check the archives and read all messages
already posted about this VERY tired thread.
