Sorry, I forgot that Currie & Padian's "The Dinosaur Encyclopedia" says that
Araucariaceae have otherwise been totally restricted to the southern
hemisphere, so probably the ones from Solnhofen aren't ones. Maybe all are
Cheirolepidiaceae (which were widespread in the Mesozoic dry tropics,
rainforests apparently didn't exist).
