In stockmarket news, Philips shares fell by 22% today, sparked by todays's 
news that the company's earnings are down 9.6%.  The latest batch of 
semiconductors did not meet buyer expectations.  Apparently, one of the 
researchers in the company's elite Innovation & Engineering Group keeps on 
falling asleep at work...
