May I respectfully differ...

It's not the "internet" that is playing havoc, it is HUMAN BEINGS.

The internet didn't sent information to this list, a person did.

On the other hand, maybe I'm wrong. Do you have an e-mail address for The Internet so I can send he/she/it an e-mail and

None of this krap means a thing. This kind of thing gets my goat. It not who did what when. It has to do with the publisher and researcher. I’d be totally pissed off if someone broke my research on the net (or any medium) before it was going to be published if I didn’t want it to be leaked out. The NET turns science into gossip. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read on the list speculation after speculation about an animal before it was published. We/the net/ needs to respect the publisher and researcher and WAIT until it is published.

The key word is WAIT!!! Sometimes its timing, sometimes it’s the publisher or the researcher. Right now I’m waiting to publish on a theory related to some research that has been hinted about for years. I sent the researchers who were doing their research what I had thought about and had a draft about. They told me that it wasn’t in my best interest to publish anything until they had done their research and published on it. I respect that and I wait till they finish what they are working on.

Again, the key word is WAIT!!! Sometimes it’s a short period of time, others a very very long period.
