How exceedingly convenient this months Natural History has a story on just that.  Apparently, Colleen Farmer (cfarmer@uci.edu) and David Carrier (carrier@biology.utah.edu) of the University of Utah are studying this subject.  Here are their most recent papers-

Carrier, D.R. & C.G. Farmer.  2000.  The integration of ventilation and locomotion in archosaurs.  American Zoologist 40:87-100.

Carrier, D.R. & C.G. Farmer. 2000. The evolution of pelvic aspiration in archosaurs. Paleobiology 26: 271-293.

In fact, you can read this paper online here- http://usa.biologists.com/JEB/203/11/jeb2069.html .
