Proposed downunder VP conference

Deal all

The Queensland Museum is considering holding an international vertebrate
palaeontology conference in Mid 2003. (Late June- July)

For those who don't know of us; we are in Brisbane, Qld Australia.

As part of that conference we would be holding pre-and post-conference
field trips to the Cretaceous of Western Queensland, to the World Heritage
Riversleigh Fossils sites, the Winton Dinosaur Trackways, and to other
fossil sites in North Eastern Australia. A Great Barrier reef trip would
also be a possibility for those who like the water.

With the low value of the Aussie Dollar, this would be a great value
experience.

The conference itself would include sessions on early vertebrates, Mesozoic
marine reptiles, Gondwanan archosaurs and their kin, and of course
marsupials amongst many others.

Please could you indicate your interest in attending by email to me
        Alexc@qm.qld.gov.au gmacook@uq.net.au

It is critical we attract overseas delegates in order to receive federal
government conference assistance.

Please respond by 15th November
