An electronic memorial to Betty Cunningham

For those of you who don't know, last month I started constructing an
electronic memorial for Betty Cunningham.  At the moment it consists
almost exclusively of quotes people uttered when they heard the news
of her untimely passing.  It also includes a photograph of her that
was circulated along with the announcement of her memorial service.
It's not a great picture (it's a bit dark on most people's screens),
so we will probably get a better one.  Still I suspect for most of you
it will be your first chance to associate her name with a face.

Soon I hope to add three links along with the image -- one pointing to
quotes from Betty, one pointing to artwork by Betty, and one pointing
to artwork dedicated to Betty.  If you have ideas or material for any
of these three links (for the first, I invite everyone to provide
links to archived messages that were particularly memorable to you)
please let me know or send the material at your earliest convenience.

Earlier this month I announced the web page to the people who provided
quoted material.  I still haven't heard back from most of you as to
the acceptability of your words.  In any case, if anyone (quoted or
not) has comments about the page's current construction please let me
know.  Additions or modifications to existing quotes are perfectly
acceptable...
