AMNH Collections On-Line
Thought I would pass this on from the vrtpaleo list:
In conjunction with the 2000 Society of Vertebrate Paleontology Meetings in
Mexico City, the American Museum of Natural History is pleased to announce a
new online collection database of its fossil amphibian, reptilian and avian
collection. The site contains numerous digital images of specimens. In the
archival section, field photographs and field journals from late 1800's and
early 1900's paleontological expeditions are showcased. To easily navigate
the site, click on the RED buttons, for a hyper-linked list of distinct
values for that field.
To access the collection logon to http://paleo.amnh.org and sign up for a
free account.
Sincerely,
