Really?  I did not know that.  I had only heard of fishes and frogs changing sex
(and assumed that other vertibrates could not because of the massive physical
overhaul required, so to speak).  It seems that birds do it, bees do it, even
educated fleas do it, so Chrichton didn't have an excuse.
