Ribs in *Theriznosaurus*

  Discovery of transversely flattened (i.e.,
blade-like and longer front to back than side to side)
ribs in *Alxasaurus* should have corrected the
prevalent assumption that the flatten ribs found with
the PIN holotype for *Therizinosaurus cheloniformis*
actually belong to a sauropod, just because they were
flattened. Not discounting the possibility, but this
is the #1 reason why the ribs are excuded from
discussions of *Therizinosaurus.*
