Kenneth Brannagh's narration on the original version of WWD was the cause
of some hurrumphing over here. Branagh rightly won high praise for his
stirring lead performance in the film version of Shakespeare's Henry V;
unfortunately, he then took much the same approach with our favourite
animals on WWD. If you like your narrator to sound like he's waving a sword
and encouraging hundred's of English soldiers to march cheerfully to their
deaths in battle, Branagh's original is the one for you. Personally, I'd
have preferred old Silky Sisko.
