small theropods
There seems to be a rash of "children and dinos" going around, so I
guess it had to be my turn.
I need some help here. I'm doing a project for the local library in
setting up a display about dinosaurs, and this includes large
assemblages of the groups: hadrosaurs, ceratopsians, theropods,
stegosaurs, etc.. But I can't seem to decide on who I will use for the
small theropods bit. I need theropods that average six feet long, can be
recognized by children as different from each other, but can be strange,
unusual, and common, and I need only about six to ten of them. And try
to vary the groups each belongs to. They also have to be of reasonable
completeness (including a partial or complete skull).
Don't include *Velociraptor*! He's already on the list.
Don't include euavians or enantiornithines and the like! Dromies are as
close as I'm getting to birds. (Yep, that's where I stand on that issue.
No comments, please.)
Send me a list off the list.
