It's probably wrong for me to reply to this (seeing as how we're riding the 
rail topic wise) but I couldn't resist.

The way I saw it, when Nedry said "I'm glad your not one of your big brothers" 
he meant not one of the bigger Carnosaurs. 

Plus Nedry's expertise was in the computer field. Chances are he knew little to 
nill on dinosaurs. I wish Spielberg didn't dumb them down either way.

OK that's about as far off topic I'm going for awhile.
