DINO GAMES

STEVE JACKSON: What game are you working on that will need four dino
minis? Remember when I did the first Dinosaur Game (Gar-Garouk) back
in the 70s? Have you tried that outfit in Hong Kong that offers
little plastic spaceships and tanks and stuff?--Steve C
===================
JEFF POLING: Steve Jackson runs one of the major game publishers.
He's probably looking for about 10,000 or 25,000 sets. He can probably
write his own deal with the manufacturer if he can find them at all.
And hand-painted ones would probably be too expensive. A typical game
that sells for $25 in a store has to be manufactured for between $3
and $4, including the box, playing board, rulebook, any charts or
cards or counters or coins or money, and the dinos. Just a guess but
if the game company I (sometimes) work for was doing them they want
to find them bagged in sets for less than 50 cents. He might even
consider having them cast on trees but that would mean they'd all be
the same color.
(Just a little insight into the game industry there.....)
