DINO UPDATES

DRAVIDOSAURUS: Some time ago (before a recent crisis made me lose track
of the dinolists again) someone asked about when Stegosaurs lived.
I vaguely remembered one that lived in India until the end and took
the effort to look it up. I was told that someone had figured out it
was a Plesiosaur instead, but this interpretation appears to be in
dispute. The bones shown in Dinosauria and Dinosaur Society Encyclopedia
don't really look like something that could be plesiosaurian but I
presume whoever came up with the plesiosaur theory was looking at the
real bones. The tooth is clearly stego/ankyly, but I was under the
impression from reading all of the books that there were no Anklylos
in India, at least none known. Did you guys ever come to conclusion
on this? Did those oddball "fat in mid-spine" tailspikes figure in it?
It was kind of annoying to finally get to a point in my life that the
business would allow time for my passion (Dinosaurs) and to go out
and spend something over $300 buying every Dinosaur book in sight
(some of them less than six months old) and have this thing about
Dravidosaurus crop up and make every fact in every book suspect.
All of this does bring up an interesting subject.....

IS THERE SUCH A THING as a single publication which would have ALL
new discoveries, theories, article synopses, and other news about
dinos (and, preferably, JUST dinos)? Something written in more or
less plain English (along the line of the text in Dinosaur Society
Encyclopedia or Illustrated Encyclopedia of Dinosaurs. I once hoped
that the Dinosaur Society Newsletter would be this (I joined/subscribed
before the first issue was printed) but it turns out to be mostly
"society news" which is of no real use or interest. The JVP is of
course "technical" and largely "non-Dino" and not really what I'm
looking for. Something that, if I subscribed to it, I would have known
about the new theory (and isn't every shred of knowledge we have about
dinos really no more than theory?) about Dravidosaurus and would have
mentioned it in my "trying to be helpful" post on the subject.
If there is not such a publication, I might consider creating one
(as I own a publishing company among other things). One way to do it
would be as a loose leaf notebook with each "issue" including a few
new or replacement pages for those genera that need it and a series
of "update" pages that would add extra data to other pages that don't
really need wholesale replacement. You'd buy "the book" and then
"subscribe" to the update and could continually update your book.
